Access Changes Grace Crum Rollins Building ---- from September 8, 2009 to February 28, 2010

In order to construct a bridge between the Claudia Nance Rollins Building and the Grace Crum Rollins Building it will be necessary to close the Plaza Level Entrance to the Grace Crum Rollins Building for approximately 6 months.

During this time use the new entrance that is located on the plaza level near the School of Nursing. This entrance will be open Tuesday September 8, 2009. The existing plaza level entrance will close the week of September 14, 2009. This entrance is expected to reopen in January or February 2010.

Existing access cards will operate the new entrance.

Brief Delays on the Pedestrian Pathway Leading to the School of Public Health and the School of Nursing ---- from October 13, 2009 to November 15, 2009

Beginning Tuesday October 13, 2009 and continuing until November 15, 2009, Whiting-Turner install steel supports for the new bridge that will connect the Grace Crum Rollins and the Claudia Nance Rollins Buildings.

It will be necessary to briefly stop traffic when these are lifted over the pedestrian pathway leading to the Grace Crum Rollins Building and the School of Nursing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Firelane Sidewalk Closure ---- from November 2, 2009 to November 28, 2009

On November 2^nd the firelane sidewalk between Turman Hall and Freshman Hall 4 (under construction) will be partially closed for several weeks. Due to construction that will be progressing on the exterior of Freshman Hall 4, half of the sidewalk will be closed. As shown in the diagram, pedestrians will still have access to half of the sidewalk in front of Turman Hall.

Steam Outage for Psychology and Math & Science Buildings ---- from November 13, 2009 to November 15, 2009

There will be steam shutdown at the Psychology Building and Math & Science buildings. We propose the shutdown to start the evening of Friday, November 13th at 7:00 am and anticipate work to be complete by 5:00 pm. During this outage, heat to the buildings will be off-line.
